DIY Rustic Bath Caddy

Head to your local lumber yard and grab a bunch of wood for next to nothing for this bathroom project. The more aged and imperfect the wood is, the better this bath caddy will look.

Today I’m sharing a simple and inexpensive way to incorporate rustic wood in your bathroom. Natural wood is a requirement for me in every space I design—it brings a warmth, timeless and casual feel to a room that can’t be replicated by anything else. And fortunately, it’s usually the cheapest and easiest material to find and work with!

A bath caddy or tray is a necessary piece to make your bath luxurious and spa-like: put there your tablet, smartphone, reader, a book, a candle and a glass of wine to enjoy! If you love taking baths, it’s a must, and making one won’t take much time while turning your bathroom into a spa.

Materials:

  • Wood
  • Jigsaw
  • Miter saw
  • Screw gun
